Clarify is Osmosis's vitamin A serum for blemish-prone skin. Osmosis publishes it at 0.04% retinaldehyde. Mandelic acid sits second on the ingredient list, ahead of niacinamide, beta-glucan and lactic acid, with tea tree, basil, chamomile, cucumber and witch hazel water behind. Grapefruit, rosemary and eucalyptus oils give it a sharp herbal smell. It is a thin, quick-drying fluid rather than a cream.

We use it on adult breakouts, congestion along the jaw, and the kind of skin that has been dried out by stronger blemish products. One to two pumps on clean skin before moisturizer, or dabbed on individual spots. Osmosis allows morning or evening. Wear SPF daily — there is a mandelic and lactic acid load here on top of the retinal.

Apply 1–2 pumps to clean skin morning or evening, before moisturizer. It can also be dabbed onto individual blemishes. Wear a daily SPF while you use it.
