A mist adds a layer of water back to the skin before your serum, revives makeup partway through the day, and helps a moisturizer spread further on skin that has spent eight hours under office heating.

iS Clinical Copper Firming Mist is the one we reach for most in the studio, usually over a serum. Green Envee Bright Facial Mist leans toward the look of dullness, and Medipair Veil Cream Mist sits closer to a light lotion in a bottle. Spray, then apply your next product while the skin is still damp. Misting and letting it dry on its own does very little.
